Registration procedure
Who can register?
Any person or organization is eligible to submit a registration request to the JPSearch RA. Before submiting a registration request it is necessary to create a JPSearch RA account.
Creating an account
To create a JPSearch RA account, just visit the Create Individual Account page (or the Create Orgranization Account page if you are an organization's representative), and fill the form with the requested information. Once you've finished with creating your account, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to complete the verification process.
Viewing and updating your account information
You can log in to your account through the log-in page
. Once successfully logged-in you will be able to view your account information and to performe updates.Submitting a registration request
In order to submit a registration request you should fill either one of the following forms:You will receive one of the following responses to your submission within 24 hours:
- Your registration is validated.
- Your registration is rejected, and you will be informed of the reason why it has been rejected and the appeal procedure is available upon request.
Who evaluates your submission?
- The JPSearch RA only verifies the submission contains the necessary information and notifies you of the response to your submission.
Time of response for your submission
The JPSearch RA will respond to your request for registration within 24 hours from the time of submission.
Remarks
- A proposed new JPSearch item should meet the following criteria:
- Unique- it must not duplicate a JPSearch item already defined
- Correct submission- the syntactically and technically correct submission along with all appropriate explanations of purpose.
- During the review period, the JPSearch RA may require more information regarding the submission. Any omissions or errors in the submission may cause the rejection of the submission.
About appeal
You have the right to appeal a rejected submission if you believe that an error was made. You will be required to provide additional information at the request of the experts who are under the authority of WG1. They will provide a final and definitive response of acceptance or rejection.
